About Us And Our Objectives

The Association was set up in 1990 as a society registered with the Registrar of Societies in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.

Our founding members have enshrined the following objectives into Article 4 of our constitution.

• To promote the interests of all graduates of the University of Nottingham in Malaysia.
• To promote and facilitate social, educational scientific, intellectual, recreational, and cultural activities amongst past students of the University of Nottingham residing in Malaysia.
• To promote the interchange of informed opinion on national, socio-economic, cross-cultural and educational problems of Malaysia/ Nottingham to the widest extent.

Our Regular Activities

Maintaining contact with the university
We maintain a close working relationship with the staff in both the University Park Campus and the Malaysia Campus. Meetings are frequently held to keep us up to date with the developments in the university. The university has also been helpful in jointly organising many social and educational activities with us in Malaysia.

Building up a network of graduates in Malaysia
The association is proud of the many graduates who have achieved outstanding performance in their life and career and had been able to build up a network of graduates that stretches from graduates from the 1960s until recent years.

Members’ Activities
Annually we schedule activities for members to meet up through high teas, formal dinners or sports. Of late the members have even been successfully in organised a charity bazaar.

Organising reunions
We are keen to help you to organise your reunion be in just meeting up with a few university friends for tea or a formal dinner for a whole class.
